1980-1982 Anoka Ramsey College, Coon Rapids, Minnesota 1981 - 1990 Constructed and operated cooperative studio, “The Hot Glass Studio” Spring Lake Park, Minnesota 1991 - 2002 Constructed private studio, “Becker Art Glass” Bethel, Minnesota This is where Douglas is currently exploring glass 1995 - 1996 Glass Art Society Conferences Asheville, North Carolina and Boston, Massachusetts 1996 Crucible Glass Workshop, St. Paul, Minnesota 1998 Pilchuck Glass School, Seattle, Washington. Instructors 2002 Glass Art Society Conference, Amsterdam, Holland. Followed by one week trip to Smaaland, Sweden, “Kingdom of Crystal,” and to experience Scandinavian history of glass making.
